Learn to Swim Level 1 Ages 6 - 7

Learn-to-Swim Level 1 is designed for children ages 6–7 and introduces the foundation of swimming proficiency by helping beginning swimmers become comfortable and confident in the water while learning essential safety skills. This level focuses on water adjustment, safe submersion, and developing fundamental movement skills. Participants learn how to enter and exit safely, blow bubbles, and submerge their mouth, nose, and eyes. They also practice front and back floats with support, assisted front and back glides, and basic arm and leg movements with instructor assistance. In addition, swimmers are introduced to important water safety concepts, including recognizing safety equipment and understanding basic safety rules.
